About Me

Hi! I’m Miranda Landers, and I run FlatLanders Pet Care, LLC, a fully insured pet care business out of Weston, VT.

I grew up in the suburbs of Boston on a sprawling property surrounded by conservation land. It was the perfect place for a lover of nature and animals, and I’m grateful to now raise my children in the same way in this beautiful state.

My professional experience includes working in a small animal veterinary hospital, volunteering at the Stone Zoo where I handled education animals and engaged with guests, and serving as a part-time manager of a small horse barn. My family and I have also been fostering cats for the Feline Connection in Rutland for the past four years, and some of the cats pictured above are former fosters.

Over the years, I have personally owned and cared for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, fish, pigs, and even some exotic animals. I currently have three dogs and four cats.

Because of my experience with a wide range of breeds, species, temperaments, and health and behavioral needs, I am comfortable caring for pets who require extra patience or specialized attention.
